'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Not Keane on Miller (AUDIO)

Liam Miller seems to be on borrowed time at the Stadium of Light. Despite being one of the sides' top performers in the Premier League this season, he was placed on the transfer list by manager Roy Keane, much to the surprise of many Sunderland fans.

Keane took the time to explain the decision, saying Miller's umpteen late arrivals to training had finally caused him to act and make the player available to leave the club.

However, the Black Cats' boss admitted that the Irish international did have a chance to redeem himself if he showed willingness to improve his time-keeping in future, because as a player he has nothing but praise for the former Man Utd & Celtic midfielder.
