Man of the Match V Chelsea

Dean whitehead has been voted Sunderland`s man of the match v Chelsea by Vital Sunderland Readers. Whitehead took 59% of the vote with Andy Reid in second place with 18%.

Our Skipper has been in good form lately possibly since his reintroduction to central midfield.

Whitehead had being played out of position for most of the campaign until we purchased Bardsley to fill our troublesome right back berth.
