Chimbonda joins Keane`s revolution at Sunderland

Sunderland have completed the signing of Pascal Chimbonda from Tottenham Hotspurs.

The French full back, 29 has signed a three year deal at the Stadium of light with the transfer fee undisclosed.

Sunderland manager Roy Keane was delighted with his most recent capture from Spurs.

Keane told the clubs official site "Pascal is one of those rare players who can play anywhere across the back line and that will be invaluable to us, so naturally we`re very pleased to secure his services."

"He has a lot of Premier League experience which can only be a plus for us and he`ll give us more options at the back, creating more competition for places there, so all-in-all it`s a fantastic signing for us."

If he's loved and cherished he'll do a good job.

Good signing for you even though I doubt his attitude.

A very good player if not a bit moody.

would have liked at villa, even given his moodiness. Should be a good signing for you. Now if you can just try a little bit harder you'll finish above newcastle. Good luck to you.
