Anderson leaves Sunderland
Sunderland defender Russell Anderson has joined Championship club Burnley on a season long loan.
Anderson joined the Blackcats last summer for 1 million pounds from Aberdeen however he managed to get injured early in his Sunderland career.
He therefore fell down the pecking order at the Stadium of Light behind Nyron Nosworthy and Danny Collins.

It will do him good to get some games at Burnley he will be a good signing for them.
