Steve Bruce has made nine changes to the team that defeated Blackburn at the weekend.

Only Kenwyne Jones and George McCartney have kept their place in the side, with Paulo Da Silva making his debut for the club.

Lee Cattermole, Lorik Cana and Marton Fulop, who were carrying injuries going into the game at the weekend, have been left out of the squad.

Former Sunderland keeper Ben Alnwick lines up between the sticks for Norwich.
