Sunderland Turner to Hull Centre Back

Sunderland Turner to Hull Centre Back

Sunderland have completed the deadline day signing of Michael Turner for a fee believed to be in the region of £12 million pounds.

Steve Bruce has completed the signing of his third new centre half of the summer, making him the seventh summer signing for the club.

The player, who has also been linked with Liverpool over the summer, should take the place of Danny Collins in the heart of the Sunderland back four, with the Welsh centre half looking likely to join Stoke City before the window closes tomorrow afternoon.
