Sunderland Win World Cup City Host Bid

Sunderland Win World Cup City Host Bid

Over the many months of hard work, advertising and getting the word out to the World that Sunderland has the facilities to host the greatest sporting event in the World, we finally can celebrate as we have been selected and the real work can begin.

Sunderland has been selected alongside other cities including Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham to bring football up the the passionate area of the North-East.

This is fantastic news if England wins the World Cup Bid in December 2010 as the economy will be booming with the money coming in from fans across the globe.

Well done to Niall Quinn and all the members who have worked non stop for the past 12 months, your hard work has been rewarded with this great achievement.
