Sunderland Transfer Target Cabanas Shot In Head

Our best wishes go to the Paraguay international striker as he is in critical condition in hospital.

Mexican officials have not found any motive for this atrocious attack on the 29 year old forward but two suspects have been arrested.

Steve Bruce has been linked strongly to him during January as cover for Bent and Jones and will be a big miss for Paraguay in the 2010 World Cup.
