Hutton Ban Reduced

Hutton Ban Reduced

Sunderland's on loan right back, Alan Hutton will miss this weekends crunch clash with Manchester United after the FA decided to reduce his three match ban to one for his red card at Hull last Saturday.

Hutton was sent off for bouncing the ball off the back of Jozy Altidore before being headbutted himself. Altidore had already seen red for that offence.

The question here is..why reduce the ban to a single game? Is that in the rule book?

The good news is that Hutton will be available, should we sign him, for the opening of next season.

The FA may want us to struggle against Manchester United....if they have reduced it then it is not a red card and should be rescinded altogether!

Black Cats Take On The Baggies

Sunderland go into this game still looking for their first Premiership win of the season, and things are about to get physical.

Tony Pulis is renowned for building sides that are hard to beat, when he was at Stoke he arguably had one of the best defences in the top flight, they didn't play pretty football but they were a tight knit bunch of players who would give most sides a game they knew they had been in.

At West Brom, Pulis still has his knockers who wish that the football was
