Fulop Lands City Move

Sunderland reserve goalkeeper, Marton Fulop has landed a dream move and joined Champions League chasers Manchester City until the end of the season it has been confirmed.

The FA granted City permission to sign an emergency loan goalkeeper after injury to Shay Given and City have swooped for the Hungarian.

Fulop told SkySports before the deal: 'This is an enormous honour for me that my name has been linked with a club which has such a great history.'

This can only be a good thing for Sunderland as he was due to leave the club anyway at the end of the season. Good performances at Eastlands will only increase his value to allow us to generate a decent fee. Good luck to Marton.
