Vital Sunderland Summer Interview: Kev Davis

Q: When did you become a Sunderland fan and why?

A: About 1968, me dad took me to Roker Park ................. its all his fault lol

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

A: bit of a let down after good start, but at the beginning I said to friends that if we were safe with about 4 games to go I would be happy ........so
am happy enough

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

A: Best was beating Liverpool ................ worst was Losing to Liverpool ............ we were gutless.

Q: Kenwyne Jones... is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Sunderland hold out for?

A: I think if Bruce can get 10 million he'll sell him, and bring his own man in to play off Bent

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Sunderland buy this summer?

A: A forward to compliment Bent .................. Craig Bellemy (Irritating sod but love him in my team) An attacking midfielder ......... Charlie

Q: Where do you stand on Steve Bruce(I don't mean literally, that would be assault) ?

A: He's doing a good job. Lets walk before we run then we wont trip up ...............

Q: Your opinion of Quinny and Ellis Short?

A: Appears to be the Dream Ticket so no complaints there.

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s

A: Current ............. Bent All Time ............... Gary Rowell (I was in the Leazes end for his hat trick and it was the day after my 16th birthday)

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

A: Yes, cos theres still some average players to move on and hopefully replace with a few better ones. 8th to 10th next season will do me.

Q: Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!

A: Kiera Knightley cos shes just an absolute babe and I'de pay to smack either Ant or Dec .............either would do the Irritating Geordie wankers
