Penalty Joy For Paraguayan Stars

SAFC star Paolo Da Silva & new signing Cristian Riveros played for Paraguay this afternoon as they beat Japan in a penalty shoot out.

The Red & Whites won 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 stalemate after extra time. Riveros was one of the scorers.

Both Da Silva & Riveros have had decent tournaments with Riveros getting on the scoresheet against Slovakia in the group stages.

Paraguay now face the winners of Spain Vs. Portugal in the Quarter Finals on Saturday evening.
