Sol to SoL?

It is being reported tonight that England International Sol Campbell has held informal discussions with Sol Campbell.

Campbell's short term contract at Arsenal has expired and he is considering his options for the new season and it seems Steve Bruce has taken the chance to speak to him.

The 35 year old appeared regularly for Arsenal last season due to injury problems and his experience may be what Bruce needs to get results away from home.

The club are still very interested in bringing John Mensah back to the club from Lyon and the Campbell deal may hinge on the outcome of the pursuit of Mensah, who had a good World Cup.

Would Campbell be the right man to partner Michael Turner at the back?

The transfer news is really beginning to hot up!
