Gordon- Breaking News

Sunderland`s luck doesn`t seem to get any better as keeper Craig Gordon has suffered a broken arm, according to Sky sources.

It would mean that the Scottish number one would miss the start of the season, paving the way for new signing Simon Mingolet to make his full Premiership debut and reserve keeper Trevor Carson to stand in as back up.

Gordon missed key months of last season when he suffered the same injury when the Black Cats played Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Although the club site has broken the news, no one has yet to comment on the matter.
