Bruce Chases After N'Zogbia

Wigan midfielder Charles N`Zogbia could be finally on his way to the Stadium of Light after both clubs have looked to agree a deal.

Close sources have confirmed that the Frenchman looks to be joining Sunderland in a deal worth over £6million, but it has yet to be confirmed by the club.

Black Cats Boss Steve Bruce has been heavily linked with the former Newcastle player over the summer and it now looks to be over.

It would add to a busy week for Bruce after completing a deal for Titus Bramble and potentially David James. With Angeleri and more on their way we could be in for a busy August.

£6 mil!!!! We paid £6.5 for him and have already turned down an £8 mil and an improved £9 mil bid from Birmingham, so I'd say some duff info there

Agreed worbo.... this is just designed to stir up trouble. Besides, can't Steve Bruce actually look no further than Wigan for signing? Pathetic.

If Dave Whelan had anything about him he would just tell Bruce where to go and only come for any players when they have been put on the transfer list. Tell him officially to stop tapping players or report him to the FA. He is becoming a bloody pest.
Standish mon
but old dave is only interested in the money and wigan need it more then they are letting on. come on charlie

Got to say though Bruce knows they are good players at Wigan T.S if he's becoming a pest D.Whealen is a tory and theres only 1 thing that interests a tory and thats money and if the price is right he'd sell his own mother. Saying that when Bruce does take the quality out of Wigan it will be a rough season I can see protests against the chairman because his greed will ruin a decent solid team.

Thing is worbo - it may be an 'Initial 6 Million' rising depending on other things - And in the end may be far more than any other offer. We have to think how the deals are completed. 6 mil down with another few mill should he do X and another few should he do Y may be the deal.
