McCartney Linked To Brum

McCartney Linked To Brum

George McCartney came back to the club after having a very good spell at West Ham a few seasons ago but has completely lost all of his form and potential at SAFC.

The Northern Ireland left back has missed a lot of games through injury and when he does play he does not make enough of an impression for Steve Bruce.

With news that Kieran Richardson has signed a new deal and is willing to play in George's preferred role this means he can leave the club.

Birmimgham will have concerns over the 29-year-old's fitness but if he can stay fit it may be a good move for both parties.

He does get injured a lot but wouldn't be a bad addition to Brum, not the kind of player who'd start in a top 10 tho!
