Keano Closing In On Fulop

Fulop, who played for Man City as a back up when Shay Given was injured, is hoping the deal to Ipswich can be finalised in the next 48 hours.

Sky Sports News have reported the deal to have been agreed and a medical is due to take place on Tuesday morning.

Steve Bruce has also added: 'Marton is on the cusp of joining Ipswich - talks are going on chairman to chairman, and that deal now looks sealed.'

The 29 year old Hungarian will be looking to move to Portman Road in time for the opening game this weekend against Middlesbrough.

Fulop done a good job whenever Craig Gordon was injured last season and also played well under pressure for Man City when called upon.

Good luck in the rest of your career from everyone at Vital Sunderland!
