Hendo Gets Under 21 Call

Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson has been called up for the England Under 21s for the first time.

The Mackem youngster has been rewarded for his form for his club in the last twelve months and he will be in the squad to play Uzbekistan at Ashton Gate, Bristol. He can play on the right side of midfield or centrally.

He has represented England at under 19 and under 20 levels and he will hope to push on and star for the full squad in the future.

Congratulations to the lad and good luck next Tuesday.
