'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wednesday Transfer Update

The news has finally broke that Kenwyne Jones is now having a medical at Stoke City in a proposed move to the Britannia Stadium.

The T & T striker has travelled down to hold talks and complete his medical before he signs in a move reportedly going to cost Pullis up to £10m.

This will break Stoke's wage structure and be their most expensive signing as they look to improve on their impressive displays last season.

Steve Bruce will be looking to complete loan deals for both Nedum Onuoha and Danny Welbeck in the next few days and has also added John Mensah to his defence today.

Mensah, has signed a season long loan deal with Sunderland and will be looking to start for the black cats this weekend against Birmingham at home.

As any more news unfolds we will report it here as soon as possible on Vital Sunderland.

KJ must have thought he wasn't going to start up front, especially after playing CB in pre-season! Hope he does well!

Doesnt try hard enough is the reason Bruce has sold him.

Ye maybe... but he is a good danger man when he is on form! I think he's worth hanging onto, just like we're hanging onto The Yak in the hope he rediscovers his form!
