Bruce Does Lap of Onuoha

Sunderland have confirmed the season long loan signing of Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City.

Onuoha has captained the England Under 21s but has been on the fringes of the City first team squad and has become disillusioned.

It is thought boss Steve Bruce wants Onuoha to become the clubs main right back at the club, but he can also play centre back or left back.

It has been a busy day at SAFC with Kenwyne Jones leaving and John Mensah joining the club earlier.

Fantastic to see Bruce adding depth in defence while shifting dead wood up front great business from old sex face now we wont end up going to teams like Chelsea with a midfield for a defence
