Lads Draw U's

SAFC will play League One outfit, Colchester United in the League Cup 2nd Round at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland will be looking to go on a decent cup run this season after establishing themselves in the top league.

We have played Colchester only twice in our history, both in the league in 2006/7. At home we won 3-1 with Stephen Elliott (2) and David Connolly scoring. In the away match we lost 3-1 with Dwight Yorke scoring our only goal.

The seeded draw was made on Sky Sports News this evening.

Should be an easy win and I would like to see us try this year because I blame Jones for the defeat to Villa last season he had a easy penalty that could of won it but was too lazy to put it away luckly he's gone lets hope the young lads try hard and we get to at least the semis.
