Sunderland Squad Numbers Unveiled

Sunderland Squad Numbers Unveiled

Steve Bruce has decided on his squad numbers with 24 players all receiving their numbers for the season, which starts tomorrow.

Bruce has left out transfer targets Anton Ferdinand, Tainio, Healy, McCartney and Kilgallon in a sign that these players will be off the books by the end of the month.

New signing Muhammadi Al-Muhammadi has picked his name on the back of his new red and white shirt to be 'Elmohamdy'.

There is also two spaces left with the numbers 13 and 21 both spare. This could mean another two players could arrive before the window slams shut.

Rumours have been circulating recently that Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is targetting Asamoah Gyan as Kenwyne Jones replacement up front.
