Onuoha Will Give His Best

Onuoha Will Give His Best

Onuoha, who joined on a season long loan from mega rich Man City, knows that he may not get a better chance to prove his potential with Sunderland this season.

Onuoha is unsure where he will be in 12 months time and seems to have settled in really well with his new team mates on Wearside.

Onuoha said: 'It's very much of a suck-and-see situation for all of us at the moment,

'City wanted £50m for me or something,' he smiled. 'But not many teams can afford that these days!

'Hopefully I will do well enough during the season.

'I just want to play as well as I can here to make sure I help this team - anything that happens after that will happen.

'This club is very ambitious,' he said.

'It's a very good squad, a very young squad and it seems the club's going to be doing better in years to come.'

After a strong opening game last weekend as right back manager Steve Bruce will be keen to see how he fares in the next game against newly promoted WBA on Saturday.
