N'Zogbia Wants To Leap Off Springboard

N'zogbia has been a target for Sunderland for the past few months and was close to joining Birmingham before he pulled away from the deal.

He seems to have settled back into playing for Roberto Martinez at Wigan but his fresh comments have sparked more hope for Sunderland fans for January.

N'Zogbia said: 'Once the transfer window opens I will talk with my bosses.

"I made a mistake in trying to join Birmingham. I had a good talk with Roberto Martinez and he relies on me, but Wigan are a springboard for me.'

It is unsure if Bruce will be making any moves for the French winger, but if we continue our great league form it may be hard for Charles to turn us down on this occasion.

On current form and injuries pending I d confidently say leave him and bring up one of the reserves like Robbie Weir or just play Reid he's still a fantastic player even if I ve seen more games than him this season
