It's Bury in the cup...

Sunderland have drawn an away tie at Gigg Lane in the first round of the Carling Cup.

Bury will begin the season two divisions lower than Sunderland in League Two, and the Wearsiders will be expected to overcome their opposition with little trouble.

The tie will be played the week commencing August 21st.
