Hendo Gets Three Lions Start

It has been confirmed this afternoon by Fabio Capello that Jordan Henderson will start for England in midfield against France tomorrow night at Wembley.

Henderson's first cap will round off a fantastic week for our young player of the year after he played in Sunderland's remarkable 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Henderson was drafted in to the senior squad on Saturday after impressing for the Under 21 side. He scored his debut goal last month as he helped the team to qualify for the European Under 21 Championships.

Newcastle United's Andy Carroll is the other player confirmed to be making his England debut.
