Match Reaction From A Villan

What was your reaction to the latest defeat that puts your club into the bottom three?

Gutted... I didn`t think Sunderland put that much of a fight up but our lot have little heart and no spirit, I went thinking I`d take a draw. TAKE A DRAW ... at Villa Park? And Bruce expected the win, you could tell that the way he went three up front whereas we made no changes and had a striker in midfield and three midfielders on the bench. Baffled.

What must change in order to make this season not about relegation? Who can bring this?

The players need a kick up the backside for a start. They hide behind the manager/s but what about professional pride? Really confused right now, we should not have got this bad this quickly.

Do you feel the team selection was right or should Houllier go now?

Team selection was mad, I`ve come to expect that and although it feels wrong to say, I fear he should go now. I am not sure he will so I hope he rams the words back down the Villa fans throats. He looks tired, old and lost.

Do you agree with both red cards?

Heskey was clobbered but you can`t push an opponent in the face. Correct decision.

Your red? No, the ref tried to balance things out, it was ott and should not have happened.

After watching Sunderland is there anyone who surprised you or disappointed you?

I thought you could have ripped us apart to be fair, you didn`t and that would concern me a bit but at the end of the day, you got the 3 points and that is all that shows up on the table. We on the other hand, are in real trouble, first time we`ve been in the bottom three since 2003 and some VERY tough games coming up!

Thanks to Mr Fear for his time and for us 6 points this season!
