N'Zogbia Deal Edging Closer

Steve Bruce's long term transfer target N'Zogbia could be his player in the next few days as Wigan reveal they will let him go.

Whelan has said he cannot stop a player from leaving, especially if they are in the top six. Check the table and we meet this criteria Davey boy!

Dave Whelan told skysports.com: 'I've always said to Charles if a top-six club comes in for him, he can speak with them,' Whelan told the Manchester Evening News.

'We'll never stand in a player's way. We don't want to sell him, we've no plans to sell him and we haven't received any offers at this stage.

'There's no chance of him going anywhere on loan and if he is to go, it has got to be for the right money. He's an outstanding player, he has wonderful pace.'

Let's hope Sunderland can arrange a deal for the creative midfielder who turned down Birmingham in the Summer.
