Blackpool 1 - 2 Sunderland

Blackpool 1 - 2 Sunderland

What a day, what a weekend!

As a travelling Sunderland fan, who has made it to 90% of the Premier league venues, this game was the fixture we all looked forward to the most!

Normally, watching SAFC on the road is a drab affair but with two victories on the bounce we can really start dreaming of a top eight finish.

The Sunderland players and management staff all united after the Bent saga and played some wonderful football at times.

Kieron was phenomenal and with his two well taken goals we may be over what Bent has done to this great club.

Bruce also brought back John Mensah who started on the bench and should be fit for the next home game against Chelsea.

With this victory, Sunderland now find themselves seven points ahead of 7th place and only one behind title contenders Tottenham.

Ha'way the lads!
