'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sess In Awe of Quinn & Co.

Sunderlands newest signing, Stephane Sessegnon has thanked Niall Quinn, Steve Bruce and Eric Black for managing to tie up his transfer.

The move from PSG has proven to be a difficult one to finalise with many obstacles to overcome but the deal was done by tea time yesterday.

Sess told SkySports: 'I want to thank Niall, Steve and Eric for all the support they have shown me. The transfer has been difficult but they were always helping me'

The pacy midfielder also revealed he turned down offers from several other clubs to join SAFC.

He may make his debut against Chelsea on Tuesday night. Sunderland's other new boy Sulley Muntari jets off back to Milan tomorrow to tie up some paperwork so he will not be involved.
