Bruce Includes Knott In Line Up

Billy Knott, 18, has been called upon by Steve Bruce to be included in the 30 man squad that travels to Goodison Park on Saturday.

Knott, who was brought in from Chelsea in the Summer has impressed with his displays in the U18'sand reserves this season and can play a host of different positions. The youngster can play in midfield, on the wing or up front will be buzzing with his inclusion and hopeful for a run out if possible.

Bruce told the official site that he will be squad number 30 and added: 'Billy deserves his chance, and he'll remember his first day with the first team for a long time.

'He will be involved in the squad and he will be stripped. He's made a big impression here and has the world at his feet if he keeps progressing.'

Knott has scored nine goals in 14 appearances for the U18's and also notched twice for the reserves in seven games.

All the best to Billy and let's hope his inclusion is the first of many in a great career at SAFC!
