Andres Guardado is the latest player to be linked to Sunderland in the Summer and the Mexican could be valued at 10 million Euros.
Steve Bruce is desperate for a winger to create more chances for Welbeck and Gyan and Guardado could be the answer if he decides to leave Deportivo.
Guardado, 24, is fighting to keep his Spanish club in the top flight as they hover only two points from the drop-zone.
Guardado told sky sports: ''My objective is to save the team and after that we will speak at the end of the season.'
