Elmo Looking For Permanent Move

Elmo Looking For Permanent Move

Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady has declared that he would like to make a permanent switch to the Stadium of Light in the summer.

'Elmo has made 27 apppearances for SAFC since joining on loan from Egyptian club ENPPI. Despite supposed interest from other clubs, Elmo has made it clear that he wants to stay with the Wearsiders. He said: 'I would like to move here in the summer, if the manager wants me to sign.

'I like it here at Sunderland and I am happy. I know the other players, I know the manager and the fans have been very good to me. It's a very good club.'

Despite a promising start to his Sunderland career, Elmo has been asked to score more goals by Bruce as we look to avoid a run of nine games without a win.
