Gordon Continues Injury Curse

Gordon Continues Injury Curse

When will our luck improve? I have never seen an injury list like it in all my time supporting the lads in red and white.

Campbell, Meyler, Cattermole, Bramble, Mensah, Richardson, Muntari, Welbeck and now Gordon have all spent long spells on the sidelines.

The latest blow to our tiny squad is Craig Gordon undergoing a knee operation in Sweden to fix his problems.

However, this means he will miss up to 4-6 months as he recovers from this injury and leave us with Mignolet between the two goalposts.

Bruce told safc.com: 'Craig had the operation yesterday and it went well.

'He'll be about for about four to six months now.

'That just sums up our luck at the moment.'

We are desperate for this season to end and rebuild in the summer but we also need to win a few more games to make us mathematically safe.
