Gibson Closing In On 5m Move have reported tonight that Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson is close to joining Sunderland.

Gibson, 23, looks set to sign for Steve Bruce for a fee of 5m as a replacement for Jordan Henderson.

The Irish midfielder has agreed terms and should be a Sunderland player by the end of the week.

Sunderland are also very hopeful that Wes brown and John O'Shea will also move from Old Trafford as their 12m bid for all three nears completion.

Hopefully this will kick start Gibson's career as he looks to continue the form he showed for United against Bayern Munich and Schalke in the Champions League at the end of the season.
