O'Shea Progress Being Made

O'Shea Progress Being Made

So far this transfer window has been excellent with the additions of young, hungry players aiming to prove a point in the Premier league.

If Sunderland manage to sign John O'Shea this could be the signing of the summer. O'Shea who has vast experience and versatility has been rumoured to have accepted the fact he has to move on to another club.

Talks are still ongoing, and other clubs have been reported to be also attracted to the Irish defender but Steve Bruce still has the lead in the race for his signature.

Maybe Bruce has suggested he can become the next Sunderland AFC captain after Lee Cattermole has been out with injuries and suspensions?

What this deal may lead to is the purchase of fellow Man Utd players Gibson and Brown to join before pre season starts.

Things certainly seem to be hotting up and talks have intensified in the last day so we should learn more by early next week.

Where would you play O'Shea in defence?
