Wes Brown Undergoing SAFC Medical

Wes Brown Undergoing SAFC Medical

As the chant goes:

He's big, he's bad, he's Wesley Brown
The hardest man in all the town,
With ginger hair beware,
Come and have a go if you dare!

Hopefully the Sunderland fans will be singing this during pre season as Wes Brown passes his medical and joins our club.

Brown, who has been a Man United player since 1996, has the experience and winning mentality that we all know we lack in certain games of the season.

Brown, 31, has been up Sunderland today to agree personal terms and be shown around the Academy by club officials.

This is a great capture by Steve Bruce, who obviously see's Brown as a replacement for Nedum Onuoha.

The player is due to be unveiled in the next 24 hours with the hope that other Man United defender John O'Shea will also follow closely behind.

So far this transfer window has been great and if other fringe players leave to lower the wage bill we may see other exciting players join our team for the start of an exciting season.
