O'Shea Having SAFC Medical

O'Shea Having SAFC Medical

It is turning out to be a great pre season with the arrivals of Westwood, Ji Dong-Won, Wickham, Gardner and Seb Larsson.

Now it looks likely that Sunderland will be adding their 6th and 7th additions to the squad with the capture of Wes Brown and John O'Shea.

O'Shea, who Man Utd fans will be saddened to see leave Old Trafford, has played almost 300 times for the current English champions over a 12 year career in the famous red shirt.

He will bring calmness to our defence, versatility to a few positions, and more importantly a winning mentality to our players.

It is a sign of the progress we are making as a club to see seven new players all arrive add their own trademark to the starting eleven.

It is expected that both O'Shea and Brown should complete their medicals today and sign later this afternoon.
