Adam Johnson On Bruce's Radar

So we all move on from the never ending Charles N'Zogbia rumours and speculation as he finally signed for Aston Villa this week.

The next rumour to be reported in some tabloids today are all focused on Adam Johnson at Manchester City.

Steve Bruce is a long-term admirer of the English playmaker and nearly got his man before mega rich City secured a deal.

It is well known that Johnson seems to have fallen a little out of the starting eleven for Roberto Mancini and Bruce could offer him regular football with Sunderland.

Johnson, 24, who has confessed to being a Newcastle fan, would be ideal for Sunderland but would he move to us from a team on the up?
