Gyan: 20 Goals Is A Tough Target

Asamoah Gyan scored an impressive 13 goals last season in his opening campaign and his manager has asked him for 20 goals this season.

However, Gyan knows this is a tough target but will give his all for Sunderland in a season that hopefully gets them higher than 10th.

Sunderland's star striker Gyan said on KickOffGhana.com: "I really appreciate Steve Bruce because he has confidence in me and knows what I can do but football is a different thing all together.

"It`s easy to say but I have to prove it on the field."

"The English league is one of the most difficult leagues in the world and you have to stay on your feet. As I always say if you are not 100 per cent fit you can`t do so well in it."

Gyan will head to Anfield this weekend as the game was declared safe to play after UK riots threatened to stop all fixtures.
