Sunderland target McFadden?
Sunderland are targetting Scotland winger-cum-forward, James McFadden according to reports.
The former Everton and Birmingham City man is currently unattached having been let go by Birmingham after their relegation last season.
Wolves are known admirers of the 28 year-old after he enjoyed a successful trial at Molinuex.
Former Black Cats boss Mick McCarthy has since revealed that he has offered McFadden a contract:
'We made him an offer, but I understand he has got a few offers.'
Whether or not one of those officers has come from the Stadium of Light or not remains to be seen but he'd certainly add an extra attacking option.
