The Danes sit level on points with group leaders Portugal in second-place on goal difference.
John O'Shea came off the bench for Ireland in their 2-0 win over Andorra which leaves the Irish well-placed to secure a Play-off spot with a clash against Armenia.
Fellow Brit David Vaughan also saw his side win as he came off the bench to help Wales over the lined in a 2-0 win over Switzerland.
The Welsh sit fourth in England's group and will be looking to avoid the wooden spoon in their final fixture.
Finally, Simon Mignolet saw his Belgium colleagues win 4-1 against Kazakhstan which leaves them on the cusp of qualification, a point ahead of Turkey. Group leaders Germany have long since qualified.
