Bruce: 'I won't quit'
Steve Bruce tried to remain upbeat post-match, having seen his side go down 2-1 to a late, late Wigan winner.
Speaking to the BBC, Bruce said he would not be quitting:
'I won't be beaten with it. If others see fit to make a change then so be it but I'm ready for the challenge ahead.' Said Bruce.
The boss continued: 'I'm still convinced, no matter what people are chanting or saying, that the dressing room and the players we've got here are a good group and they will turn it around.
'I've got to try to get some belief back among the supporters - it isn't easy at the moment but I've never ducked away from anything or a challenge.'
