Bruce in frame for Korea job?

Former Black Cats gaffer Steve Bruce is being linked with the vacant South Korea manager's post.

Cho Kwang-Rae recently left the post and experienced international manager's Luiz Felipe Scolari and Sven Goran Eriksson are both also believed to be in the frame.

Kwang-Rae left the Korea post earlier in the month following a 2-1 defeat to Lebanon in World Cup Qualifying.

Bruce's connections with South Korea only stretch as far as the signing of Ji Dong-Won from Chunnam Dragons.

Head of international development Niall Quinn also visited shortly after his appointment to the role.
