Arsenal targeting Richardson?
Sunderland utility man, Kieran Richardson is this morning being heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.
The 27 year-old former Manchester United midfielder-cum-full-back has been on Wearside since a £5.5m under Roy Keane in 2007.
Arsene Wenger is believed to be looking for a left-back to cover injuries to Andre Santos, Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson and Thomas Vermaelen who are all currently injured.
Whether or not Richardson is seriously of the quality required to plug a few gaps down at the Emirates is highly doubtful, but it's fair to say silly season is in full-swing!
