Colback extends Black Cats contract

Homegrown midfielder Jack Colback has this afternoon extended his present Sunderland contract until 2014.

The versatile 22 year-old will now remain on Wearside until June 30 2014.

Colback has been a regular in the Sunderland first-team this season making 20 starts for the club to bring his career total to 63 plus 18 from the bench.

The Killingworth-born playmaker has also enjoyed two loan spells at Ipswich Town under former Black Cats' boss, Roy Keane.

Congratulations Jack!
