Arsenal trip on day one for Sunderland

Sunderland will head to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on the opening day of the 2012/13 season.

The fixtures for both the Premier League and Football League were announced at 9am this morning with Sunderland being sent to the capital on August 18.

Martin O'Neill's side end the season in north London as well with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur.
