Angeleri completes Sunderland exit

Argentinian defender Marcos Angeleri has today signed for Argentian outfit Estudiantes, according to reports.

The right-back, 29, has spent two miserable years on Wearside, making just three appearances for the Black Cats.

According to Argentinian site Toda Pasion, Angeleri will sign a three year contract with Estudiantes to bring to an end his Sunderland misery.

Signed by Steve Bruce for £1.5m from The Students in 2010, Angeleri's time at the Stadium of Light has been blighted by injury problems.

An allegation of racism against the now-Hull City manager hardly helped the four-cap Argentinian's claim, however he could not find favour under Martin O'Neill either.

Good luck in the future, Marcos!
