OFFICIAL: Reed loaned to Portsmouth

Young midfielder Adam Reed joined League One crisis-club Portsmouth on-loan yesterday (Thursday).

The 21 year-old midfielder joins Pompey on an initial one-month loan deal as the South Coast outfit search for re-enforcements for their heavily-depleted squad.

Reed has previously been out on-loan with Brentford, Bradford City and Leyton Orient over the past two seasons.

Speaking to the Portsmouth Official Site, caretaker boss Guy Whittingham praised his new addition:

"Adam comes highly recommended by Kevin Ball, has played at this level before and will bring us plenty of energy.'

Defenders Shaun Cooper, Sam Sodje and Yassin Moutaouakil also signed for the Fratton Park outfit on month-to-month deals.

Good luck, Adam!
