OFFICIAL: Wickham loaned to Wednesday

Young striker Connor Wickham has joined Sheffield Wednesday on-loan until March.

Wickham, 19, links up with Dave Jones' npower Championship side in search of regular first team football.

The January arrival of Danny Graham has seen Wickham slip back down the pecking order once more, in spite of the departures of Fraizer Campbell, Ji Dong-Won and Louis Saha.

The former Ipswich Town forward will remain at Hillsborough until March 9.

with Danny Graham now signed on, you felt that chances would be limited for Connor, so loaning him is a sensible move for everyone
